I agree with your review and also found myself sucked in by Joker. His little speech to Dent in the hospital almost made since to the little anarchist that probably exists in all of us. A new kind of evil with no motive beyond chaos. The impartial "justice" of chance. The inability of pure good to adapt to and address pure evil. Both great films, where the bad guy is far more interesting than the good guys. I, too, loved that scene where Joker hangs his head out of the car like a dog. An animal, enjoying the now.
